I am a solution-oriented therapist who can help you work through your personal roadblocks.
At one time or another in our lives, we all have come up against obstacles for achieving happiness. The obstacle could be stress in our primary relationship, anxiety in considering a career change, or even issues regarding self-esteem, confidence or depression.
When we have difficulty working through these and other everyday life issues, it may be helpful to speak with an objective, nonjudgmental psychologist such as myself. I am trained to be able to assist you in choosing the best approach for achieving your individual goals.
I have provided psychological counseling for over 27 years and have been trained in a variety of treatment modalities (please see my page The Right Therapy). You and I will make a joint decision regarding which therapy works best for you. As a psychologist, I will provide you with active feedback so that you leave your therapy sessions with insight and skills to make the changes you choose to make.
As co-author of a relationship book, "The Second Wives Club," I have found that when a person is happy and fulfilled as an individual, he/she is more able to be happy and satisfied in a personal relationship. Private counseling sessions in which short-term or long-term objectives are determined and addressed can have far-reaching affects and profoundly impact loved ones in our lives.
From my discreet offices in Woodcliff Lake in Bergen County, NJ, I have provided counseling as a sole practitioner in a confidential, comfortable setting. I am not affiliated with a group, a mental health clinic or managed care. In other words, I am an “independent” provider and thus am able to assure that your sensitive, private information will not be on record in some organization’s computer system (please see my page Your Privacy & Insurance).
To speak to me directly, please call (203) 313-1208 for fastest response, or send a private email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I answer all inquiries personally.
Of course, there is no charge for an initial brief consultation via phone or email.
